Milky Tee Review

Milky Tee Review

I must admit, I’ve never really been one for ‘breastfeeding clothes’, as such. I’ve breastfed two babies, both for around 18 months each. That’s a total of 3 out of the last 5 years spent breastfeeding. I could never get my head around the fact that most ‘nursing’ clothes were also maternity as-well. Which I find a bit odd, as (usually) you are either pregnant, or breastfeeding. Not both! Especially as my babies got older, I didn’t fancy buying clothes…

PFFD – The Next Steps

PFFD – The Next Steps

It’s taken me 2 weeks to write this post – I wanted to get it all written down, and also needed time to process it all. 21-11-2018 I’m sat writing this with my beautiful 11 week old daughter sleeping on my chest. 11 weeks! Part of me feels she’s been here forever, our final little puzzle piece. The rest of me feels like she’s not been here two minutes. If you’ve hung around here for any length of time, then…

#MyAquaphor Challenge – 5 Uses for One Product!

#MyAquaphor Challenge – 5 Uses for One Product!

I remember my Parents having Aquaphor in the house when I was a child. It would get used for all sorts of things, it was always in the bathroom cabinet! So when Brit Mums got in touch to see if we wanted to get involved with the #MyAquaphor challenge, I had a massive moment of nostalgia. I’d actually totally forgotten about this amazing Multi-tasking product and was looking forward to seeing if it lived up to my nostalgic expectations! In…

Emma’s Diary baby photo shoot review

Emma’s Diary baby photo shoot review

As a mum of 3, the more children I’ve had, the less time I’ve had! Obvious I know, but it’s meant things like the amount of photos I’ve got of them as babies has lessened as well. I must have hundreds and hundreds of photos of my eldest as A baby. It’s basically what I did all day, I couldn’t stop myself. We’d created this amazing little human and I couldn’t quite believe it! Fast forward 5 years and baby…

Ebay Finds Under £20

With a newborn baby, my nights are mainly filled with feeding and scrolling through my phone at unearthly hours. This means lots of time spent checking out the latest offerings eBay has. You all know I love a good eBay bargain, I lived in these dresses during the summer. So I thought I’d do a little round up of everything I’m loving on eBay at the moment! 1.Leopard print scarf I love the look of this scarf, especially as it’s…

Hana baby wrap review

Hana baby wrap review

I remember the first time I saw a baby being carried in a stretchy wrap. I was pregnant with my first child, and we were walking by a river locally. A man walked past with a tiny newborn, snuggled into his chest. I’d never seen anything like it, what was this cosy looking contraption? The only baby carriers I’d seen weren’t anything like this. I made it my mission to find one for our upcoming arrival. ‘T shirt sling’ ‘Material…

Looking After Yourself After Giving Birth

Looking After Yourself After Giving Birth

The day after giving birth to my second child, I insisted we ventured to the local soft play, baby’s very first outing. I was excited to show her off. I sat at a table there, almost crying with the afterpains I was having whilst breastfeeding. I almost cringe thinking about it. What on earth was I doing, leaving the house so early, and to soft play?! It didn’t stop there, I was in and out the hospital within hours after…

5 ways to make school mornings easier

5 ways to make school mornings easier

So, we’re now 6 weeks into our new school morning routine. With a 4 year old, a 2.5 year old and a newborn, I’ve had to do as much as humanely possible to make sure our mornings go well. Disclaimer – This doesn’t always happen. There will always be mornings where one child is having a meltdown about socks, whilst another insists of playing with all the toys they own instead of getting ready, plus a baby that needs a…

5 fabulously frugal things I’ve done this week

5 fabulously frugal things I’ve done this week

It’s been quite a while since I did one of these! I’d love to get back into sharing frugal things I’ve done during the week – even if it’s just to remind myself to try and not spend. So here are the things I’ve done this week to try and save myself some pennies. 1. Sold things on eBay – it had been quite a while since I sold anything on eBay – I just got out of the habit,…

PFFD – let’s start at the beginning

PFFD – let’s start at the beginning

This time 3 weeks ago we were enjoying our last weekend as a family of 4. I was so ready to have this baby now I’d got to 41 weeks. Looking back now, I feel so silly for worrying about things like the tidiness of the house, and if all the washing was done. I guess I just wanted everything to be perfect, presuming that when baby arrived we would be straight home. On the Monday morning, 20 days ago,…
