5 Frugal Things I’ve Done This Week – 03/12/2017

1.On Monday we went to a local farm. They have an offer on this week, so we got in for half price. It was a treat and the kids absolutely loved it!

2.The car insurance we have for both our cars was up for renewal. I spent a couple of hours one evening going through all the online quotes, and I’ve managed to find some that are cheaper than last year, by about 20%! NEVER just accept the renewal price you are given, always shop around, its really pays.

3.I made a huge vegetable chilli today. It should last us a couple of days and then I’ll freeze it for future meals. My two small ones liked it, and it also got a thumbs up from the husband!

4.I needed a new snowsuit for my daughter. My friend was selling a Boden one, so I managed to get it for less than 1/4 of what they are new, plus it’s in brilliant condition. I’ll sell it on when I’ve finished with it and probably make back at least half of what I paid for it.

5.Another mystery shopper assignment completed, and I’ve got 4 set up for this coming week. Easy money! I use Market Force.

Those were my 5 frugal things from this week. My husband is going from weekly to monthly pay soon, so this week will be his last pay for a couple of weeks! Money is going to be tight for a while so I’ll have to be extra frugal, I’ll be checking out everyone else’s blog posts for this linky, to get some ideas!

I’m linking up with this CassEmma and Becky in this week’s ‘Five Fabulously Frugal things I’ve done this week’ linky.
